Need behavior help

My Timneh , Cody, is a little over 2 years old. We got him straight from the breeder as soon as he was old enough. From the beginning he bonded with me. He was ok hanging out with my husband and kids but mainly wanted me. He would call for me and flutter down from his cage to follow me whenever I wasn't in the room. Over the last 4-6 months he has gotten closer to my husband who works out of town. He is gone a month at a time and Cody started to miss him more and more when he left. He gets depressed but usually after a few days goes back to normal. Lately this has gotten worse though, to the point to where he doesn't want anything to do with anyone else. He lunges at me whenever I get close, bites (drawing blood) and in general is just a terror to anyone but my husband. Any ideas on what I can do to help?

Have you tried target training? It seems he needs a training session done and you need to be the one that does it since your there more often.

I don't know much about that but I can read up on it.

Anyone else have any ideas? Also, we are wondering if when my husband is home if he should spend extra time with Cody or if that is making it worse?
