Parrots
Female Eclectus-"Roxy"
In a few weeks we are driving down to Florida and bringing Roxy with us. I know some parrot species are illegal in some states. Is there anything I need to worry about with an eclectus? I have already made an appointment with a vet before we leave so that I can certify that she is free of infectious diseases.

Does she ride places with you now? If not it's time to start taking her places with you like to Petco or Petsmart, home depot or just rides in her/his carrier so she know what to expect and you can see if she is stressed or enjoys the ride. Mine loves to ride.

Yes she has gone many places with me and she loves it! She loves to look out the window!

I don't see any problem with you coming to Florida with your Eclectus. I'm located in Central Florida and have an Eclectus. I know with species like the Monk parakeet and Cuban amazon, there are some states that don't allow them. I think Cuban amazons
The owner has to be permitted in order to travel out of state with them.
