I need some advice on cage for my parrot

I have a pretty big corner cage for my parrot, too big even for the spot I have for it. I have a yellow collared macaw and I got a corner cage thatā€™s 100x100cm back and front 59x59x59cm its height is 185/150cm inside, problem is itā€™s too big that Iā€™ve gotten to the point I hate cleaning the dam thing because I barely can move it around.

Iā€™m thinking of downgrading the cage size and I found this one off eBay and itā€™s definitely smaller, visual difference in the photo with paper, the smaller cage is 13cm shorter on the inside but with it being smaller I definitely can add better play gyms on the outside and not hate cleaning it since I can move it.

My question is would my parrot hate being in the smaller one? I know heā€™ll get use to it but would it be too small for him in general. Some key notes during the day his cage is always unlocked, he doesnā€™t stay inside his cage unless he just wants to sit there or food, otherwise heā€™ll go on top or play gym.

That's a beautiful cage, too bad you have to change it. Good luck.

A yellow collared macaw is pretty small for a macaw isn't it? It seems like the smaller cage would be fine. The big cage is HUGE! Especially since he has lots of out-of cage time. Please post a picture of him!
