Name that lovebird!

What kind of lovebird is this?

Hello fellow lovebird owners! I have a new baby lovebird named Jax who is 7 weeks. When we got him, it just said blue peach face lovebird, but can anyone please identify my lovie and give me a specific name as to WHAT KIND of lovebird he is? I attached a photo of him (sorry if the photo is showing up sideways) Thanks in advance!

He hasn't gone through his first molt yet, but I think either a Dutch Blue or Sea Green mutation. But he's not necessarily a "Peach" face, he's a White Face.
He's adorable btw!

Thanks for the info! I was aiming towards the dutch blue at first too, but you're right, I guess I'll have to wait a while longer in order to really tell. I was thinking about going back to the pet shop in a couple days to get his companion that was with him in the cage there, a pastel pied peach face. What do you think? If I had 2 lovebirds, would they bond more with each other rather than with me? I wouldn't want to be a 3rd wheel or anything lol just curious!

Was he bonded to his cage mate and what gender is his companion? Do you plan to separate them or keep them together?

It really depends on the level of attention you can give to both of them. I don't have experience with two lovebirds but they can get aggressive from jealousy. I really don't see why you can't have two at the same time but it would make bonding and training to each of them a bit harder than if you had one. If your'e ready to invest more time (and money) go for it! The most common method is to go to a quiet secluded room (bathroom) and interact and train there. --- That's if you're planning on keeping them in the same cage, but you also have to be wary on breeding.

I don't really know if his companion was a male or female. Actually, at the pet shop there were 4 of them in the same cage and they all seemed to cuddle up against each other on the perch. I chose him because he was the only kind that was a different color than the other 3.

I was planning on keeping them in the same cage too. Not sure about the noise level though. I'm not sure if I'm willing to wake up to 2 screeching lovebirds at the same time lol. Also, I wouldn't want them breeding either, but I don't know the sex of each one.
