Thank-you for your replies.
Amazon plumage continues to change over the first five years, some a little faster others a little slower. Rarely are these changes huge, but they are enough that it can be difficult to define a few from each other while they are still young. As a result, unless the parents are known (Breeder specifics the linage of the baby Amazon), this group of Amazons are defined once they have adult plumage. In addition, humans have created 'hybrid' Amazons by mixing parents of different linage, which only adds to the problem.
IF, you have a Yellow-Crowned Amazon its 'scientific' name would be: Amazona - Ochrocephala. Web search: Yellow-Crowned Amazon for more detailed information.
The band information and the age you provided confirms its age. Also, the band is not from the Americas'. So I am guessing that the Breeder is from your region. If you purchased your baby from the Breeder, they will be able to provide conformation for you. If you purchased your baby from a Broker or a Pet Shop, and since they had provided you with its age, they 'may' be able to conform also.
There is a wealth of information available in the current and past Posts on the Amazon Forum. Also, please read the first thread on the Amazon Forum: Amazon Body Language. It will be very helpful.
