I decided last night to change Jade's name. He just does not respond to it at all and it does not seem to flow for me. He makes such cute little sounds I found myself calling him Cricket. That will be his name from now on. He gives me that big eyed conure look when I say the name to him.:32:

Did you go down to the court house and get a legal name change? ;-)

Yes his flying liscense says Cricket now even though we tried to ground him by clipping wings X2.

Cricket is a very fitting name for him! :) Got a good laugh about the court house! lol

awwe :) cricket was on my name list too haha, I suppose I'll let her pick her own nam, but I'm hoping for Lucy lol (LuLuBelle ^^) I'm so happy little Cricket is doing well!

My cinnamon green cheek is named Cricket. He made that cricket sound when I got him at 14 days old. On the way home I kept thinking I was hearing a cricket in my car so he's been cricket every since. I think the name is cute and very fitting for a green cheek.

I like the name Cricket!!!! It's a very cute name!!! :)

I am surprised by Cricket being aggressive to my timneh Rosie. He fans his tail and tries to beak her if he is close. I guess that is what is meant by little bird with big attitude.

Haha....grounding a GCC is sometimes easier said than done. Word of warning about that. If he's anything like my buddy's GCC, always keep the bathroom door closed when taking a bath, as he'll be kamikazi diving into the water with you. Also jumping into the dishwater, etc.

Cricket is a great name! Plenty of "consonance" to keep his attention. He'll be whispering it into your ear in no time.
