I had to read it three times! I thought it said my young Jack EATS the budgie!

Jack is very handsome! (I don't see the budgie) Jack didnt eat him, did he?

Jack's a real cutie! I'm waiting for a photo of little Eaties.

I noticed a couple of things in the photo you may not be aware of. It looks like Jack has lost tail feathers, it may be because he's climbing on the sides of his small cage. It would be great if he had more space and a variety of perches other than dowel to stand on. Please be very careful with those bells too, I know birds love them but the bells contain zinc which can be toxic to parrots. Tiny cockatiel and budgie beaks or little toes can get caught in the bell and cause injury too.

Hi all sorry never used this forum before , I thought I put 2 pics. Jack is my adopted cockateil who was found in the middle of a roundabout unable to fly due to his previous owners clipping his wings ( very badly done ) the vets had to pull a number of his feathers to encourage new growth. I know the cage is small but he doesn't spend much time in it, he likes to come out and play most of the day.

I have 2blue budgies and at least one tiel. There are 2 in my home but one is a found bird and im looking for its owner. If not ill keep him. My son named him Rex.

My tiel Jet had a bad clip and no tail too. He can finally fly and land well enough that his tail is coming back. He is starting to fly for fun. He still tends to drift to the right a bit.

Awww... what a cute pair. They look like they've become good buddies:) Poor Jack being found in the middle of a busy road:( Glad you were able to give him a wonderful home!

They are adorable, both of them! Wow, I'm glad Jack survived his adventure with traffic and finally has a loving family. Thanks for sharing their photos.
