Well I was going to get more pictures to put in the rescue thread for adoptions but it was a very crazy babysitting of the rescue this time. I was there from Wednesday till today...my feet hurt from all the running around! I thought I would have some help with the shelter Saturday but except for Chris I didn't have anyone....so I had to do cages in the house, feed all the birds and do water in the house...and get the cages setup for the new birds that Jeanne and John were picking up (Chris helped with the new cages)... I'm still not sure how Jeanne does all this all the time!
I did decide to play with a bunch of macaws that are in the house Friday and Saturday...taking half of them out Saturday was the only way to get them to shut it to a degree... so here is the only bird picture I took the whole time. There are 6 macaws in the picture. 2 blue and golds, Piaui the hyacinth, a scarlet, a harlequin and a blue throat. These are all Jeanne and Johns personal birds expect for the harlequin. I also had out their personal harlequin and green wing at one point but wasn't sure who got along with who so had to keep them pretty separate so not enough room for everyone at one time.
The new birds Jeanne and John brought back are another blue and gold, a severe, a cherry headed conure, 3 greys, and 2 green cheeks.
