Hi guys,
My sweet and tame ringneck (male) is getting nippy and bad tempered day by day.Is it because I am not too assertive with him? He has bitten me before but that hasn't bothered me that much, maybe because it was always on the hands/ fingers and I love him too much.Today my female ringneck was messing with him and he got peeved. He called me, so I picked him up. The next moment he lunged at me and bit me on the cheek. (I guess he was a bit agitated and took the anger out on me). My family is a bit freaked out about this because he bit me below the eye.
Now they are saying that I should not allow him to sit on the shoulder? What do you guys think?
