My Sun conure, Barry, is 14 weeks old. He eats seeds and fruits, though only a little. When he wants his baby formula, he makes sure he gets it. He will refuse to eat anything if he is hungry (well, except for apples).
Any help? I've read and have already weaned birds, and I have tried everything with Barry. He is Healthy. :orange:

He's just not ready to wean. You should never try to force a bird to wean. It can have lasting negative psychological effects that will remain for the life of the bird. Just keep offering him formula for as long as he will take it. He will let you know when he is ready. I handfed my DYH Amazon, and he wanted to be handfed 2 months longer than both of his brother from the same clutch. So I let him. He eventually weaned and is just fine. There is nothing wrong with Barry, he just isn't ready yet.

Abundance weaning is the way to go...this is letting him choose when he is done with formula. Know that there will be birds that take a lot longer to wean than normal. Continue to offer him formula until he refuses. How many times are you feeding him a day? Just know that he will eventually refuse. They live 30 years....he WILL wean off it when he is ready. Continue to offer him different fruits and veggies (have you fed things like peppers? (I hear conures love them) and also just keep experimenting with more veggies. Also consider giving sprouting a try if he loves the seeds.

Thankyou, everyone. I was just getting worried since my others birds hadn't done this.
