Wanted to share a photo of our new Crimson Bellied Conure. We picked her up from the airport a couple hours ago. She is very very scared at this point so hopefully we can gain her trust with some patience. . Now to decide on the name. Hmmmmm

She's adorable! I like the little red patch on her chest/belly I would imagine she is quite rattled from her flight. I'm sure she will settle in soon enough. Congrats!

She is gorgeous! When Darwin flew in it took her only a day or so to recover from the stress, and she was an older bird. I bet it won't take your sweet baby long at all to settle in

I like Ridlee a lot. But my daughters name is Rylie. Seems too close to me for some reason.

I must say that I'm so sad how the breeder clipped her wings tho. The entire wing is cut SO SHORT. Poor thing.

Poppy is the hubsters fave and since this was a surprise purchase I feel like I should allow him to have a bigger pull in the name game. #feareddivorce Lmao.

I like Ridlee a lot but hubby quickly pointed out we have a dog named Wrigley. That may cause confusion.

We couldn't name our GCC during the first week - we tried to come up with all sorts of names, and nothing worked. And then one morning my hubby suddenly said "Parry".. Wow, I thought, that's it! My hubby didn't know where that came from.
So just look at her, feel her and the name will come! It is in the air, you just have to "catch" it.

She is doing pretty good today. Goodness gracious can she eat!! She seems to eat far more than even Jasper. She rarely leaves her food bowl. Maybe it's a growth spurt. Little piggy girl. Lol
