Hi guys,
Not bird related but I need to vent somewhere.
Didn't think I'd be posting here for a very long time, but today my toy poodle Sooty passed away. He was 14 years old. He'd been having problems for about a month with not enough oxygen getting around his body and he'd sometimes collapse. Had him all checked out, there was no apparent reason for this happening.
Looking back he seemed to be trying to say his goodbyes yesterday but I kicked him out of my room (he eats what the birds throw, not the best thing for him). I can't begin to describe what my Sooty meant to me, I got him when I was 12 and he's been there through everything incl major depression, and to see him laying there, peaceful as he looked, was absolutely heart breaking. I miss my old man and life doesn't feel the same without him here.
I also feel sorry for our other dog Triny (11yrs), she seems so lost.
