Mods, I hope there's no problem with personal recommendations of businesses. If there is, please kill it :)

I recently made my first purchase, which required some interaction with staff there. It was such an enjoyable interaction and transaction: they are very safety-conscious, knowledgeable, and just generally friendly. Also, the merchandise was a quality piece at a bargain-basement price.

They also have a Constant Comment email subscription which offers daily specials and such, if you enjoy that kind of thing, which I do.

An interesting footnote. The staff asked what kind of bird I had... I told her... she was very familiar with the species and said she would have one if it weren't one of the illegal species in New Jersey (along with Quakers)!!!!! I think the reason that Rickeybirds are illegal there is because they are from such harsh climates that some believe they could survive way up North, but I'm not sure.

Anywayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy, love My Safe Bird Store!

We also use them for some of the items we purchase for our serious spoiled Amazon. Our main source is Parrot Island.

Thinking that being kind people at My Safe Bird Store, they elected not to bring up the 'Good Fellow' connection that RickeyBird has been rumored to be involved with.
