My parrot is not interested in the toys on his cage. He has a big swing, a toy with wooden parts and a rope, but he doesn't swing, and he hardly even looks at the wooden one. Otherwise, he is cheerful and communicative. Please comment? What to do ? To buy some more interesting, but which ones ?

Sometimes it helps if you let him see you playing with a toy (while making squeels of joy and pleasure - it works!). Do it often. SO try different TYPES of toys with him. It may be a bit $$ until you hit on the type he likes. I would get one of each type and let him decide. WHen I got Salty, we had a whole bunch of toys he never even gave a look at. I gave those away here on the forum. These days I take Salty with me when we shop for toys and HE picks them out.
