Hello everyone, just wanted to drop a line and say hello. I have had Maggie for about 2 weeks now and things are going swell. Maggie was pretty much neglected in her last home, (not abused) but pretty much left alone all the time. So far she is eating from my hand, just taught her to step up (which she has never done before), and from what I understand that is pretty good for having her for only 2 weeks. Also, she was in a very small cage and I just bought her a mansion! She climbed into it on her own. This is my first CAG, BUT NOT MY first bird. She was in a home with all females, I am a male but this seem to be going good. Any advice would be appreciated.

Hey, sounds like Maggie is in good hands now and adjusting well. We'd like to see some photos of Maggie in her new mansion:)

Welcome to the forum!!! We would love to see some pictures if you have some to share. A lot of times people purchase a parrot thinking oh I want one because of what they see on TV and such, then after the newness wears off they let them be and just going through the motion of feeding and such. It's very sad....Great for you to adopt her into your home though!!! :)
