My New Budgie, Butter!

After months of research I have finally gotten my first bird! Say hello to Butter the budgie!

I don't have a whole bunch of stuff for him yet, but I just ordered tons of toy parts and food from My Safe Bird Store. And I'm hopefully going to another pet store tomorrow (the one in my town is really small and doesn't carry a lot of supplies.) But anyways, he's really calm and has a lot of potential for taming. He loves to chatter and climb around. I haven't really seen him play with his toys yet, but hopefully he'll figure out how fun they are.

So anyways, here I am. I'm a new bird owner and very excited!

Aww!! My mom has a budgie that looks exactly like that she named her Moonlight. Butter is an adorable name for an adorable little bird! So happy for you! I hope you turn into best friends quickly.

I keep coming back to this thread and looking at Butter! Just a real cute little guy! It really makes me want a budgie. I think it would be a fun experience to EARN a birds trust! Pumpkin came already trusting and loving humans.

Aww, he's adorable. He looks like butter too. LOL. If you ever get another, you could name it margarine. lol. Or even better, Peanut.
