Parrots require at least 12 hours of good sleep. Is he getting that since he's with you? Are you covering his cage at night?

Good Luck with you new Baby and please keep up posted.

Babies sleep more. But a vet visit is a must,! Just to be sure. Also a young one like this may regress, and might need some comfort hand feeding. Offering some warmer oatmeal, or scrambled eggs before bedtime might be good. Also getting a digital kitchen scale and start tracking weights, a great thing to do for life, as can help identify health issues early.

Welcomed to the forum, congratulations on your new baby!

Welcome aboard, great looking BFA! Birds adapt to a new home in many ways. A well-check with a certified avian vet is generally recommended. Please let us know the results!

Welcome and be welcomed. We have a huge Amazon presence in this forum, you're in good company.

Beautiful! I absolutely love amazons, have a double yellow headed myself! Congrats on your new addition!
