Good luck with your first feeding. . I don't envy you! I remember Rosie's feedings. I was always a nervous wreck, between the consistency, temp and Rosie being a super slow eater.

I used to put a papertowel around their neck [holding it together with my left hand in the back of their neck] .With my right hand I would slowly dribble in food [in the syringe] on the left side of their beak .watch the temperature of course. Sometimes birds can regress . Going to a new home . Just because the breeder said 2 feedings . He might want more [watch for baby begging and a repeatative wail] .if that happens that's what it means. They refuse when they are full.
