my female Violet is in the mood for love...poor Luna my male can't quite figure out how to 'hop on' sort of speak.:54:

I've never seen this before, so I'm not sure if I can do anything to encourage a 'connection'...other than practice makes perfect, lol.
....poor thing wants to mate but can't quite figure it out.....gosh I thought it was just a natural thing for birds.
both are about a year+ in age.

they are on solid perches & plenty of room in the cage.

any suggestions?

anybody have any suggestions??

Sorry, I don't have a suggestion. I hope someone comes along soon....while they are "in the mood". Is there such thing as an avian mating video, maybe? Like when we show them how to play with a toy...

Sometimes it's like that....I have a male tiel that prefers to mate with a perch then his gf....he's very pretty too, he's a heavy pied with mainly yellow. They usually need an older mate to show them or they just don't get it period like my tiel....lol

Bless his heart:( I was also wondering if he could see others doing it, if that would help?

Shame, the poor boy! I also thought it came naturally and that all animals 'just know'. I hope he figures it out soon ;)

Place them in your bedroom. :54: :54: :54: Hey, you asked for suggestions. :D
