My Little Gerber Graduates

Neither Tiki nor Nacho will eat their veggies... and Nacho won't even eat fruit! I'm so glad someone here suggested using baby food for picky eaters! They both love it. While I know it's not ideal, baby food combined with a pellet/nutriberry diet HAS to be a huge improvement on the all seed (and nut in Nacho's case) diet they were on before.

I'm so proud of these little ones. Here are my Gerber Graduates this morning

Awwww That is really cute! I love how Tiki is eating out of the tube like it's nectar from a flower lol. And yes, baby food absolutely is a great way to introduce fruit and veg to picky eaters. Someday they may even 'graduate' to pureed real fruit/veg

I didn't know bird could eat those we had some sitting in the cupboard forever and they got thrown away :/ time to go buy some and see if Charlie likes what a awesome idea

That's great for Tiki and Nacho but you have to work on that macaw's diet too! Crackers are terrible for them!!!

We have one of those too. Kiwi sometimes enjoys "preening" his buddy Nacho is a cheeky little guy stealing a cracker from a 'bird' 10X his size

One has to wonder how many adult parrot owners have one of those toy birds compared to how many kids I know a few other forum members have one too.

Mine was a gag gift from my father-in-law. He gave it to my husband because they liked to record their voices saying inappropriate things at the toy store, and then wait for little kids to walk by

I was going to throw it away because all it does is collect dust but then I saw how much it cost!!! So, now it is a bird room decoration LOL
