Hi all
We used to have Budgies and canaries when I was a youngster, but all I ever wanted was a dog! So as soon as I 'grew up' that's what I did and I still have my latest (the size of a small horse) a rescue. Sadly though, I can no longer walk him like I used to so he spends half of the week with my daughter's family where he gets loads of exercise and the rest with me on sedate strolls. I tend to be the trainer too.
A little while ago I remembered the birds, and realised that they would be just the thing to stop me going stir crazy now I am not so energetic so..... I did lots of research and Syd, (short for Sydney) the Green Cheek Conure although he's bordering on blue, arrived a week ago. More about him in other threads because you've guessed it the questions are stacking up.
