Parrots
Sonnie- Sun Conure
Pineapple Green Cheeked conure- Mango
Yellow Naped Amazon- Lola
I read through all the recipes and basically threw everything in but the kitchen sink!
They both seem to love it and I now have 42 1 cup-ish servings.

I can relate - 42 baggies in the freezer. LOL its better then when I used to keep snakes, pythons mostly, and had dozens of rats in Seal-A-Meal bags in my freezer. Heehee I used to send guests to the fridge to get some ice cubes, just to mess with their heads. My current chop tastes like it would make good veggie soup starting stock. Wonder if Salty would mind if I filched one. So come on, what all is in yours?

I made chop for the first time about 2 weeks ago. Ended up with about 30 little snack size ziplocs that I froze. I take one out a day, and Panama gets some in the morning and some in the evening. He LOVED it the first week, now not so much. I have started to only offer it to him once a day, thought maybe he was sick of it. But he still does not seem interested. I have not offered it the last two days, I will try again today. I noticed that after I pull it out of the freezer and put it into the fridge it gets mushy by the time it defrosts.... Anyone else experience this? I put khale, cooked rice, oats, green peppers, red peppers, carrots, broccoli, zucchini... and I believe that was all :)

My Lola and Mango love the chop I made. I give pellets and a little fruit in the morning and chop for dinner. I was afraid they may tire of it, but they haven't yet. Mango seems to love it more though! I found that one snack size bag, which was about a cup is good for two meals for my two.

Romeo loved the chop I made. Now he won't touch it. I don't offer it very often but it's still a no-go. Stephen likes it still though.

I try to rotate through foods a lot. Romeo had a HUGE thing for Straw Berries until yesterday. Now they just get thrown on the floor. I think some birds need a LOT more variety than others.

We rotate between chop mixed with something else fresh/crunchy and sweet 'tater or squash. Salty also became a strawberry hater - used to love them , now they get fired like bullets onto the floor. Ditto for blue berries. He used to turn his beak blue, now he just flings them

Sammy won't eat anything that has been frozen, except corn and peas. I think he can tell the difference in the texture. We eat a lot of veggies, so he just gets what we are having.

Looks great!! Love seeing pictures of chop, even more though I love seeing birds actually enjoy it!! :) Great work!
