My fearless parrot

Found a large stuffed chameleon for my son and was having a little fun with it with Kiwi too. As a few of you might know, he is an absolutely fearless bird. Most birds I know would be terrified of a big, shiny green stuffed toy on their cage. Not my bird! He’ll stick his head right in its mouth (provided a sufficiently tasty treat is on the line)

“I have no idea what that thing is but I’m not interested”

“Oh, a pistachio is now involved?!” (maximum speed scuttle out of cage)

This really has to stop. This kind of secret, backroom, shall I say it; 'sweet, loving,' interactions with our Amazons is only going to increase the number of individuals that will come to believe that Amazons are Not Textbook Mass Killers!

Although, I must admit that even I become tired of the: "I have done extensive research regarding Amazons and prior to my getting one, cause they are pretty, can I train it not to bite? Please respond ASAP as I have just got one! Please, no haters!"
