my eckie chews on my nose

lol. ruby (my eckie) has had this strange afiliation with noses for more than a year its kinda like she is grooming you. and now that i have a mustache she tends to groom that as well. any one else seen similarly funny behaviour??

Mishka my Arican Grey, used to nibble at my nose, one day got out of control and almost bit my nose.

My sun has an issue with nibbling on my nose. I have to pay attention to his mood. He doesn't get aggressive, but he gets in these really silly moods where he forgets himself and will nip and laugh his head off afterward. If I notice his mood change he gets taken away from my face and has to either sit in my lap or next to me. I also had this happen with my budgie. I was laying in bed reading and he was sitting on my chest, he walked up to my face, started nibbling my nose, and then chomped down so hard I couldn't get him off. I stood up and he was hanging there!!!! It was like a really bad cartoon where somebody ends up with a mousetrap stuck to their nose!!!! I finally get him off, but it left a mark on the tip of my nose for months! It looked like a giant pimple where he bit me! Everybody kept asking about it and when I told them they would laugh at me! Naughty Spooky. Needless to say, he isn't allowed near my face anymore.

Yes, my Eclectus pierced my ear a month or so ago with his beak because he got angry at me.

yes my eckie can be rough and has bitten my lip and nose before. but it feels like she is actually preening my mustache emost of the time. its rather funny.
