My DIY toy

Ok, so I was trying to give the doves a new perch after I cleaned their cage & their perches were soaking.

So I went out to get my tree trimmer & I cut down a tree. & I then cut it up and brought it inside lol. So I have a tree sitting in our living room.

Anyways, I measured kiwis cage & cut it to the right size. I then baked it and set it in his cage.


He LOVES it. It's made of Willow (diamond I think), and because it was warm he didnt wanna get off it, silly boy. I think I'm gonna make another perch higher up, and use the flexible, small branches to connect them. Idk. Maybe he'll like it?

Next up is Mango, but her cage is rather odd shaped /:

Oh yeah and the doves... Lol... Forgot about them in the process..

When I used to live out in the country side I used to collect wood from Willow that was in my yard. But living in the city I won't dare with all the pollution....I miss the country side sometimes, don't have any neighbors and you can see the stars clear as day since there's no street lights and such around....

Getting a bit nostalgic there Mikey?

I love the country. We have neighbors who are just a walks away, (which is nice since earlier we had a breaking & entering scare) but it's nice not be shoved in. And the lack of polution is nice as well.
