My Date with Judy ! Photos

Merlee invited me over for lunch today to play with Judy and Merlin. Many of you followed the threads as she decided to take in a rehome YNA. Judy is such a sweet and loving boy ! He stepped right up for me and made himself at home on my shoulder. His new cage is awesome, He lucked up finding a home with Denise. I had to take photos to share, so you all could see how well he is doing, and how beautiful he is.

Thank you Boysmom. I had a great time and it was a pleasure having you. The cookies you brought were fantastic. I could eat them all by myself!! My son just took a bunch to eat in his room. lol.

After you left Judy now follows me on his perch and tries to get up on my shoulder. You spoiled him and now I can't get him to stop doing it. lol. I was really afraid he was going go after one of your shiny earrings and you would have get medical attention.

I hope we can do this again in the near future.

I am sure that can be arranged! Start a thread to see if there are any members close to you and PM them for a get together.

There is a member here named Mike that I would like to meet in the near future. We missed each other by 30 minutes at a bird fair in Atlanta.

Boysmom, we need to go visit Miss Vickie's Parrot Village if there is a bird fair on the 1st Saturday of the month because that is when they have open house. We can do 3 things in one day -- bird fair, International Food Market and the bird rescue.

Merlee i'm sorry I spoiled Judy. I believe she must have spent alot of time on her previous owners shoulder. She didnt make me nervous on my shoulder like Ruby does. Ruby when on shoulder always picks at my ears or whispers into my ears, which tickles. I was surprised Judy was content to just sit there and rub her cheek on my cheek. She really is a sweet Zon.

ParrotForum.com members are the best folks when it comes to helping those in need in any shape or form. Boysmom took the time to teach me how to download pictures from my camera to the computer. Now it's just a matter of time before I will learn how to post pictures here on the forum. Boysmom, you will have to come back and show me how to do that too. j/k lol. Merlin and Judy say double thanks for the Nutri-Berries you brought for them!!

The cookies are almost gone and I guarantee you the rest won't last longer than today. Nobody here can eat just one.
