As promised, here are more of my bird photos, a majority of them are seen in my backyard, but a few were taken while out and about. I do photography as a hobby, using a Canon Rebel t2i (or my iphone4).

***These are MY photos and MY property- if you'd like to use my photo(s), please ask my permission first! Thank you!***

And this morning I was graced with the presence of juvenile Bald Eagle (and was fast enough to grab my camera!); I have also previously seen an adult in the same tree, but was gone before I could pick my jaw up off the ground. Have you ever heard an eagle cry? I have. :)

WOW, Shirre, what a SWEET treat for us!!! :D:D

BEAUTIFUL photos!!!! I could stare at the Great Horned Owl all day long!!!! Owls are one of my favorite birds. :) Last summer we had one visiting our backyard regularly, but I was never able to figure out what type he was. :( I'd here the hoo-hoo...hoo-hoo....but was never able to get a clear view of him. He was big, and he took care of the rodents in the yard (due to wild bird food spillage) :54:

Thank you so much for posting these. LOVE them!!! :D

Awww thank you!

I like being diverse with my talents, but they're all artistic in some way :)
My next project is doing wood-burning art and wood carving :D

Very nice pictures!!!!! I need a camera now so I can go out and take some wildlife pics. :)

Fantastic Shirre!!!...you have got a gift of photography!....and drawing

what is that blue/grey bird?? all of them are wonderful photos....

Shirre,

I have been pretty heavy into woodburning for years. If you need any help getting started let me know.

I just finished re-burning and re-finishing a dining room table my father made when he was 16.

The second pic is my tree man.

Your pictures are breathtaking! My favorite is the one you have labeled "Mine"! You have loads of talent, and it doesn't seem fair that you can draw too!!!

I don't want to overload everyone with my photos, but I can post a few more of my photographs tomorrow...? Yay? Nay? (Landscapes and other random cool photos)

Absolutely Wonderful !! I would love to see more of your birds . I wish I could draw like that !! [maybe in my next life :) ]

Beautiful pictures!
I live on vancouver island. There are sooooo many eagles here. I live on a river as well, so I get to watch as they swoop down and pluck spawning salmon from the river.

Last summer was the first summer with our 12 chickens, and three eagles were hunting a bunch of bunnies behind our house for a week. All our chicken his under our deck for a week. They would start to come out to forage and the. Hear them cry, and all 12 would run for cover again.

We have a heron hunting mice in our field this whole winter, and we get turkey vultures in our field as well.

The picture you drew is amazing! I wish I could draw, I'm not very crafty, but I've been tryin lately :)

Those wood burning... They render me speechless. Wow.
