this incident happened a few mins ago, i accidently pushed the door and didnt notice my little guy was standing at the top, the door didnt completely close but it did squeeze the toe and a piece of nail chipped, he was pulling in the toe and releasing back and forth, i've been monitoring him for the last few mins or so and he is standing on the same foot now so im glad to see that but still worried, any advice?

Ouch! Sorry about that. If there's only a chipped nail, no blood, and he's standing on it, he's probably fine. Keep an eye on it for swelling and watch to see if he favors it, but I'm guessing his feelings are hurt worse than his toe.
