Thanksgiving Day, we had a great parrot moment, the picture below is my brother and my nephew Jackson. Venus is on my brother's shoulder for the first time ever. Yes he looks tough and has nothing but that smerck that says he's enjoying Venus on his shoulder. I love it! He'll never admit that he is liking it, lol.

So the background is my family came to my home for Thanksgiving. My nephew Jackson is the youngest out of 14 nephews and nieces in a mixed family. Buddy my GCA, forget cuddles and snuggles, he's Mr. Bitey except with me, he's Mr. Cuddles, lol. Venus my Ekkie is very patient and tolerant with all. So on Thanksgiving Day, my Buddy had to stay in his cage because he wants to bite anyone that tries to interact with him. He's a Green Cheek Amazon, wonderful with me but not with anyone else, definitely a pair bond bird. Venus though was out and about, exploring everyone, lol. She made numerous friends.

I wanted to share Venus' pic with my brother Jack, and his son Jackson. We had an amazing holiday. I love that Venus wanted to visit with people, she stayed with my brother for quite a while, Jackson said, "I shy guy.", LOL! Jackson never tried to interact with Venus, he's "shy" lol. Love this pic! And you're right. The expression on your brother's face is saying, "Yeah, there's a bird on my shoulder. Wanna make something of it?" Hahaha!
