My 7 month baby girl stopped sitting on my shoulder

Since I first met her at 2 months old her favorite place was my shoulder. In the last three days this has changed. She'll sit there if I put her there but no longer seeks that place out. She would rather she sit on my hand now. Is this a natural progression as she is getting older?

lol on your hand is good! especially if they get to a nippy stage

but if they feel most safe from a high position, as your hands are lower i'd say your bird is perfectly happy with you

She is already at a nippy stage. I always assumed it was the hand feeding thing where my hands were always a source of food so she thinks it could still be that way.
