One and only peach faced superstar conure!
I just got my two month old baby home last Sunday. According to the breeder my baby is completely weaned and started eating on its own. Though she is having food on her own, she wo'nt have anything other than mango. Most probably she was on that diet at breeder's place.

I tried feeding her formula baby food, however she will have maximum two spoonfull and run away. I tried pomegrante, bananna, boiled corn, sprouts, but she will just bite and look out for mango. I am very concerned and don't know how to change her habit. Mango is high on sugar content and will not provide her required nutrition. Please help.

P.S. It is impossible to force feed her. She will puke everything out if forcefully put in her mouth.

I would say its highly unlikely that your Baby is fully weaned at 8 Weeks old!
You need to persevere with the formula and also offer just small amounts of different fruits, also a small amount of soft mash mixed with blended Veg!

Thanks a lot for your suggestion. I previously had cocktiels, buggies and alexandrine. I never raised a conure before. I will try with soft mash and give her grapes tomorrow. Hopefully she will have. Just fed her formula. But as usual only three spoons she had.

If she won't eat much at a time, feed her smaller amounts more often.

Good luck!
