I'm feeling rather victorious at the moment. I've just outsmarted Con into taking his medication. He's scared of the syringes and I was tired of fighting with him to take his meds so I squirted them on his favorite food, bread, then gave him the chunk and it worked!

How do you guys outsmart your birds?

I put it on half a nutriberry and let it dry. Bread works, too!

Formula! Alex may have been weaned for 9+ months now, but he still goes crazy for the occasional spoonful as a treat. Mix up a tiny bit (just a spoonful) add medication, and down the hatch it goes.

For new foods he wont eat, I pretend to feed some to the cat (his rival for my attention, he loves to torment him) and he will go insane to try the food.
