I have two lovebirds out in a large aviary. I ended up with a breeding pair. I'm neutralizing most of the eggs but thought i'd let one hatch just for fun.

But someone told me that i can't have three lovebirds - that there will be problems with that. Not sure what she meant.

CAN i have three lovebirds? I would sterilize all other eggs since i don't want anymore than three.

Anyone know about this?:31::31::confused::rainbow1:

What you mean by sterilizing their eggs? A Lovebird breeding pair can very mean to intruders even if it means to kill them. How big is the aviary?

A breeding pair of lovebirds will attack any other intruder no matter what the species, but three lovebirds in one shared space is a bad choice. You can have two breeding pairs in the same space though especially if your aviary is large.
