I have not posted on here since May. I moved recently from a house to a apartment. My 3 year old Quaker Ms. Breezy was overly bonded to me. She would attack other members of my family.
My family has tried to persuade me into rehoming her. She would make the most noise out of all my birds but living in a house the noise was tolerated by my family.
Well once we moved in Ms. Breezy was terribly loud. We live on the 3rd floor and I could hear her outside! My family started complaining and begging me to rehome her.
I gave in to their demands. Til this day I regret the decision. I have tried two unsuccessful attempts in rebuying her from the new owner. I have cried so hard as if I lost a family member.
I have moved on but once in awhile I start crying again it is hard to forget the memories.
I recently went and bought new toys for the current flock and started giving them more time. I have read that when God takes something away from you He always replaces it with something better.
This very true and I have personally lived to attest this. I lost Mr. Monty (Meyers parrot) last Aug only to received Peaches (Sun Conure). I then lost Peaches last december only to receive Fiona (Hahns macaw) this past July. So with all this heartache and trauma at the end I always ended up with something better. Peace to all.
