This is Max's favorite pastime,
playing with his tennis ball that is wrapped inside of a hanging piece of muslin.
it has a couple of knots tied into it so he can grab onto it
and a small bell inside of the ball.

He is endlessly inventive with his toy,
he has one dozen different ways to play with it
and he will bark in ecstasy when he is having way too much fun.

Moxie also taught me how to hold him like a bat.
I did not teach him this and i am pretty sure that his first owners did not teach him,
because they never handled him.

Looks like a lot of fun, never saw this idea with a tennis ball. Maybe I should try it with my birds too Birds also seem to like it when you hold them like bats. My birds do that too while I never taught them to do that. So I guess it's just like hanging in a tree

MY CAG HAS A HANGING TENNIS BALL TOY. IT'S ONE OF THOSE DOG TOYS ON A COTTON ROPE. DOLLAR STORE FIND.

I ACTUALLY DO "HUMAN SWING" WITH THEM LIKE THAT. SWING THAT ARM OVER MY HEAD, SO THEY ARE RIGHT SIDE UP, AND THEN SWING THEM BACK DOWN, UPSIDE DOWN AGAIN...
