8 budgies, currently breeding one pair equal males and females, and one female african peachfaced lovebird, turquoise mutation.
So, My full turquoise peachface lovie just finished a moult. And on her neck is this one feather. That is bright Yellow. Like Lutino yellow. What causes that? Does it mean my floof is missing something? She is very healthy, and quirky. I don't think it's anything dangerous, just.... odd. :rainbow1::rainbow1:

it's just the one feather....
 
Probably nothing. I had a similar thing with my blue Budgie Opal, she had a single green feather on her, when she moulted again the feathers grew in blue.

I don't know of any illness that might change the color of feathers.
