Morgan's first vet visit

I took Morgan to the vet because he was having some diarrhea.
They did a bunch of exams and drew blood. He hated being handled and SCREECHED AND CRIED when they held him in the towel.
He was put on two medications for the diarrhea and they have to be given orally.
When we got home he has been very quiet, fluffed up, and just now has he started eating again
Is this normal behavior after him being at the vet for the first time in his 15 years of life?

I believe it's normal. Being poked, prodded, and toweled isn't fun.

When I took Rosie in for her first vet visit the vet mentioned how good that she was for being so quite when they had her towed. The assistant told me that her galah screams bloody murderer. I think all birds are like that, some don't take visits well and others are able to tolerate it.

This is why train my birds to be wraped up and handled. It helps whem its time to go to the vet.

very normal, Bosley cried the first time I took him The good news is is that the second time he was quiet and calm.

When I gave him his second dose of meds today and he had to be restrained he was still acting like I was going to murder him :'(

You can put meds on food like a small piece of toast if he will eat it. I did that with my Amazon when he needed meds. I did it first thing in the morning when he was hungry and masked the taste with red palm oil, but you can use anything he like.

I was told not to put it in food because their digestive system isn't that advanced so they won't absorb the medication and put it to use.
Recently he's passed a couple of orange looking watery droppings
Everyone I've called says that as long as he's not fluffed up at the bottom of his cage and he's eating, drinking and acting normally, then it is nothing to worry about.
