More healthy fat/protein ideas?

So it has been over 2 weeks since Norma went to the vet. Her checkup was great, she is of perfect health except her protein levels were down and she had lost weight. See this thread for more info http://www.parrotforums.com/congo-timneh-greys/5503-dont-think-ive-got-her-diet-right.html

So I've been trying to follow the vet's recommendations of giving her egg/bone/yogurt every day. He said 1/3-1/2 teaspoon a day. She also gets dark greens/oranges/reds/yellows as well as sprouts and rice/pasta/oatmeal. Plus she gets harrison's pellets, a scoop of seeds, and some dried herbs/flowers.

She hasn't lost any weight and she now has feces in every single dropping, but she still hasn't gained any weight either. I know it has only been 2 weeks, but I don't think I'm giving her enough fat/protein still.

She eats pretty much all her food. She goes for the fresh foods first, then eats the pellets and dry food. She really likes just about everything. She won't eat the meat on the bones though, she just tosses it in the floor.
She isn't hungry all the time, there are times when she doesn't eat her whole serving and times when she does. She always has dry food in her cage, so it isn't that she isn't getting enough... I just don't think I'm offering enough higher fats/proteins for her. She is extremely active too.

Ironically I am having the opposite issue with my amazon. He has filled out a little too much and I've had to cut back on some of his fattier foods. And my eclectus is gaining very very slowly.

(everyone has been switched from an all bagged food diet to a fresh food and pellet diet, so I expected some weight loss, but we had a little too much)

Another thing that I've been thinking is it might be the heat. It is in the high 90s(32C+) and over 100(38C) regularly here, with high humidity(70-100%). They all drink a fair bit, but especially Norma... and on really hot days they tend to not eat very much. So that might be playing a factor into this as well.
 
Well, first remember that zons have the tendency toward obesity. So both birds need specific diets to their species. Your diet looks good. 2 weeks is not alot of time to see a difference. Can't remember if you mentioned these as part of the diet or not but I recommend the following added to your diet. Cooked sweet potato, cooked white potato and boiled beans. Soak a mix of beans overnight then boil for about 20 mins and drain and rinse.

Yes, he is a little piggy and I was already adjusting his diet, but everyone's needs a little tweaking it seems. He did need to gain a little weight and he looks SOOOOOOOOOO much better than he did when I first brought him home(he was dull, thin, ragged looking with a dry beak and dry feet, but now he is vibrant and smooth), but his weight gain needs to stop.

Sweet potato is a favorite, for sure, also pumpkin. I don't do white potato, but can definitely add it. I do sprouted beans, I considered they were healthier than cooked?
 
You did not say if you are weighng bird every morning before eating. I would guess that you are. You can also add pasta - the organic ones with grains. I actually serve them raw or cooked.
Also you do not want hi fats as you mention. You do not include cottage cheese or brown rice either on your list. Other than that you have a complete list of proteins birds should have. Are you scheduled for a re check with the vet on protein levels??

yes, weighing every morning and rice/pasta/oatmeal is on the list(brown/whole/organic).

No scheduled checkup, he said to feed her more protein/fat and if she doesn't get better(weight and feces) then to call in. Her feces are better, but she hasn't gained weight(but definitely hasn't lost it. She does fluctuate up a few grams and then back down and she might stay up for a few days and then suddenly drop back down).

I want to make sure she gets a little of everything she needs, but she also can only stomach so much. Is there anything I should cut out of the diet to increase intake in another area?

Like for breakfast this morning she got fresh dry food in her dry bowl and then kale, carrot, sweet potato, red pepper, orange pepper, a black seedless grape, a nickel sized cube of apple, about 3-4 craisins, a literal handful of home sprouted beans/peas, and some scrambled egg. That is to last until dinnertime when I get home from work.

Last night she had a warm dish of cooked steel cut oatmeal, cooked quinoa and millet with pineapple, cranberry, coconut and carrots, some fresh greens and a chicken leg.

I make a mash that is kept in the fridge and served warm for dinner as well that consists of one of every color veggie(peas, corn, carrots, pumpkin, sweet potato, broccoli, beans, greens, whatever is available), egg, pureed fruit and pellets.

I didn't think of cottage cheese!

Should I maybe cut all fruit out of her diet and stick to veggies/grains and sprouts/egg/cheese/bone?
