Jonesy a Goffins 'Too who had to be rehomed :-(
And a Normal Grey Cockatiel named BB who came home with me on 5/20/2016.
...well I called Nationwide this morning. One of the plans they have for fid's seems pretty good to me.
The plan I'm interested in will cover just about everything. Yearly wellness checks,bloodwork,cultures,x-rays and meds.
They will pay up to $2,000 per incident,up to $7,000 yearly.
It's a $50 co-pay and they will pay 90% of the bill..crud,I didn't ask if there was an amount you need to hit before they start coverage
Of course they don't cover pre-existing problems
The age of the fid(s) doesn't matter.
This particular "plan" would cover BOTH Amy and The Beebs, for $42.35 a month. They offered another plan, differnt coverage of course, for about half the cost.
I talked to the hospital that I take the kids to and they told me they don't deal with the insurance company directly, thats up to the patient, but will give any and all paperwork necessary to make a claim,so its basically you pay up front, then get reimbursed. That still makes it touch if you're looking at a $1,000 bill
