I recently acquired a Moluccan Cockatoo. When he perches on my arm he doesn't seem stable. I'm guessing its because my skin stretches under his weight not giving him as good of a hold. Is there anything I can do to give him a better hold on me? He started plucking and the owner decided to sell so he could have a home where he got more attention. His plucking is on his wings and I'm taking him to the vet in a couple hours to have the vet do a check up and also look at the plucking. The original owner said she took him to her vet and the vet said his feather would come back. He hasn't actually pulled put any feathers so I'm hoping they'll grow back.
