I cannot give Max away, as he is a very special bird.
1200.00 is the price we are asking. He would need a new cage, as his is getting really old.

There are a few questions that you should probably clarify, especially with that asking price for anyone who would be potentially interested (I am not, just giving you a few pointers).

Has the bird been DNA sexed? Has any recent blood work been done within the past year (wellness screening, rule out of any potential viruses that the bird could pass), stool checks recently to make sure no parasites. If none of these have been done with in the past year, keep in mind the new owner will have to do them - which will run somewhere between $400 and $500. Are his wings clipped, have they ever been? If so, has he ever been flighted before? Have you had him for the entire 6yrs, have you been his only home?

Also your asking price is a bit steep. This is the price of a baby that you would pick up from a breeder, not a re-home (especially one that you would need to buy a cage for as well, setting you back another $500 - $800).
