Molting

So Phoebe gets really bad pin feathers, I help her out best I can with showers and massaging the sheathing on the pin feather. Right now all of her tail/rump feathers are coming in and are really hard pin feathers. They are sensitive enough that she won't let me mess with them. I have been keeping an eye out to make sure they are all coming through and no glands are swelling. Is there anything other than bathing that I can do to help relieve her? I know it's terribly uncomfortable, and her temperament is reflecting it.
