Mobile view Thanks Button missing

Even though I'm currently on my desktop, I have switched over to 'mobile view', and even though the 'Thank You' icon has an 'X', it still worked for me.

Can anyone else try this, please? If more folks are having issues, we'll let Admin know about this immediately.

To switch to 'Mobile View', scroll to the bottom of the page, on the green bar, left hand side, look for 'Parrot Forum v2'. There you have the option to switch over to mobile view.

I just tried it with my cell phone (Samsung Note 3). No issues at all. The "Thank You" icon wasn't even X'd out.

What kind of cell phone are you using, Brittany? Is it possible you might just be experiencing a software glitch? Have you tried resetting your phone?

I don't have a Thanks button on mobile version either .

Here's a clue maybe, that even in the 'regular' desktop version I often have issues with the Thanks button and get error messages when trying to use it. It happens on both the desktop and my iPad. So because of this, and with Brittany's issue too, it 'might' have something to do with how certain computers or devices work with the programming of certain websites. I have the same issue on another site as well. I know nothing about computers, but this is why I think it might have something to do with the computer itself.

Julie, when's the last time you cleared your 'History', 'Cookies', etc?

When's the last time your device was updated?

Usually whenever I run into 'little' issues like this, all I have to do is the above, restart my system, and everything is good to go.

Of course, make sure you have a current anti virus program running - always.

Not sure if this has anything to do with it BUT just noticed if you are in a thread and someone else post the thank you button will not be there. You have to leave the thread and come back. Just noticed that when I was in Marks thread about Maggie and one of the Mod's posted just before I did

I am using an older refurbished computer. Even with everything shut down and cleared it's the same. I don't so much care about it for myself, but I really would like to help Brittany with her concern .

I admin'd a forum with 65k members for 15 years and this sometimes happened if the image wasn't mapped properly in the coding of the forum skin. May be worth looking into.

No worries, Brittany, you're not causing any concerns. Since this doesn't appear to be a common occurrence (with anyone else), it's certainly not an urgency, but we'll bring it to Admin's attention next time we communicate with him.

I noticed if you are not logged in the thanks button is not there.
