My grey Loki flew away from me in the Jefferson Park area of Denver on 7/16/18. I’m devastated and would love any help in bringing her home. I’ve had her since she was a month old and she actually just turned 6 at the start of June. If anyone has any ideas on where she might be I would love any help or news including sightings. This is the longest she’s been in the wild on her own too so any tips on where to find her would help too, I’m wondering if she might be by the river? Would she stay away from highways? Again any help would be great. Thank you so much

Aw, so sorry to see this! The best way to start is to start contacting all your local vets, humane societies and rescues, just in case they happen to find her. Also social media (like facebook) may be a faster way to get the word around that she went missing. It is hard to say where she may have went... she may take refuge in a big tree, or it's possible someone could have found her already and has her.

I take it she was outside, and not on a harness? Please, in the future, never take a parrot outside without wearing one. It's so risky!

:( So sorry...I will post if I see/hear anything from anyone in that area.
