Mishka - Melted my heart !!!!!

When returning home from work today Mishka and I were having our usual conversation.

I mentioned to him how hot is was outside today. The temprature was 33 degrees, blistering hot........

Out of the blue Mishka says...... Mommy I was cold today, I asked why were you cold today? Mishka replied....... because I missed you today

He melted my heart once again.......

Reminds me of a story I heard, which I believe was about an african grey! Two people were traveling in a truck along the coast and their parrot was chattering along the way! When they drove through a tunnel, the bird became eerily silent and didn't utter a sound. After they came out the other side, they could see the ocean. The bird, upon seeing the ocean uttered out "Big water!"


Some birds really do understand!

You must have one really smart bird if he can not only speak all of that, but also be able to comprehend what you asked him and answer it properly. All CAG's are extremely intelligent as we all know but to be able to understand all of that must have taken lots and lots of training.

What a clever bird !!!!!!!

When I turn the tap on, Mishka makes the sound of water dripping.
When he hears the water running in the bathroom, he says moomy is cleaning the bathroom with water,

They do understand much more than we know....
Birds are extremely underestimated.
