What fun we are having, doing this task. :D
We started on Saturday, she is doing great so far.
I have since added a small chain, where she can grasp and pull.

Watch this space for her progress ;)

Hahaha, Mishka is getting it! I'm sure it will take her no time at all to learn, She is so smart and has a very good teacher;)

:grey: is learning to pull the truck for a reason

I need help with my deliveries LoL ;)

I"m not a smart teacher, it just takes patience, and make sure they are having fun learning, with treats on standby :p

That's so cool! She'll be saying "Mishka's driving a car" soon.

I can't wait to start working with Ruby on that sort of thing. We're waiting for Popcorn to go to his permanent home since he's very jealous of Ruby and they can't both be out of their cages at the same time.

Now she is going to need an avain drivers license. You come up with some really adorable training ideas. At my bird club meeting yesterday I was watching a CAG with her guardian. The guardian could get the bird to do anything, even turn over for a wing clip with no fussing.

That's so cute! :) I love how when she pulls it, she spooks herself because it moves, lol. Silly girl! :D Can't wait to see the progress!

:grey: would correct you and say Mishka is driving a truck  LoL

Must be hard with the two birds, I know from when Zazo was here.
Even when talking one bird out, the other bird gives you the
"hairy eyeball"
When does Popcorn go to the in laws? (if I am correct)

Our 3 "permanent" birds do great together. Ruby and Jade are doing better every day - even occassional preening sessions. We may be able to put them in the same cage at some point. Max, of course, doesn't really care as long as they stay off of his perch.

We're taking Popcorn to his new home on the 23rd. My in-laws (yes, you were right) are sooooo excited. I don't mean to hijack the thread, but so far our concerns have been proven to be over-reactions. My MIL has been reading "Parrots for Dummies" every day and asks how Popcorn's doing every time we call. They're leaving San Francisco today and it'll take 3-4 days to trive to Corpus Christi, TX.

He really is such a sweet bird, but I think he'll be happiest being an only child. He's busy and curious, but absolutely loves to cuddle.

Uh oh, not another teen driver on our roads!! Don't let her drive after 10 PM!!!! LOL! Mishka is doing great! She's a very smart bird and quick learner with an amazing teacher/mother :)

haha Don't think Mishka will be driving anytime after sun set.
Instead of her usual "talk training" on my lap tonight,I thought let's pull the truck.
 She just stood there looking at the truck. I tried to con her into pulling it, I tried everything possible. Eventually I put the truck away.
The moment I sat down, she charged over, climbed up onto my lap, and said give me a kiss please. I gave her a big big kiss.
My heart just melted. It was like giving me a kiss to say thank you not in the mood for the truck tonight. :p

No more driver's license tests please, been through it twice, quite enough thank you. :grey: will have to bum lifts :p

That CAG sure has a great connection with her guardian, such an awesome thing to see.

Should have seen :grey: the first time she pulled it, she literally ran away, slipping and sliding on the tiles, I was in stitches. :)
