Yesterday, while I was cooking, Mishka was playing on her playpen. She flew off, Steven went to uppies her, she kept playing and running away. She refused to step up on his hand, I was unable to assist. He took a stick for her to step up on. She started growling and screaming.
I took the stick and tried, she screamed louder and louder. I put the stick down, she stepped up onto my hand immediately.

THEN Steven asked Mom why did we use a stick?

We burst out laughing, no wonder Mishka was so scared and petrified, she has never stepped up on a stick. :22:

The stick he used was Zazo's........

Now I can finally admit I have a "bird brain"

No actually a bird has more brains than me

Our AG are smart for sure. Are you going to introduce her to a stick again so that she is not afraid of them? Funny just near Rosie's cage is a bookshelf with lots of figures of spotted animals. She is wisely giving the big elephent the big eye look. I am trying to reassure her it is not real. I think she is coming around to the spots now. My new place is small and the birdcage will be moved when I get rid of a big lazy boy rocker.

Just one problem, Mishka has never stepped onto a stick ever. We have
always used our hands.

I kept a picture of a monkey, on the wall, near her cage. I always made the sound of a monkey, she began to make the monkey sound as well UNTIL one day while on top of her cage, she ripped it off  and has never made the monkey sound again, LoL I guess she hated it

Crazy how much stuff you had to get rid of, now the lazy boy rocker as well, what are you going to relax on :(

Like Ap said, that's actually kind of funny.

It's funny how birds just don't like certain things, isn't it? It used to be that I couldn't wear my hair back in front of my finches. :D

You gotta feel sorry for our birds :(
When we humans dislike something we say so
How are our birds supposed to express themselves
