Millet and Millet Spray

I want to give my parakeet a treat so I can start training him. Originally I was using millet spray, but I just realized his food package says the number 1 ingredient is millet. Is millet in his food slightly different than the millet spray (the spray of course is dry and the millet in his food does not look dry)?

The millet in his food (if the food is dry) could be in the pieces themselves over being actual pieces of millet spray mixed in. (Although I'm not certain). A picture of the food might help.
