micro chipped?

I was thinking of getting some of my birds microchipped. Has anyone did this with their parrots? And did they handle it well?

Heard of bird's being micro chipped, not familiar with it at all.

Some of mine are microchipped. Yes they did well, but most likely it won't be done in front of you.
