Meet Sparky :)

So, hubby brought her home today... seems a long process but she's here, finally. And seems to be settling in well.

Looked at the cat and went 'oooohhh' likes to say lots of things and whistles like a space ship...

I keep thinking there is someone else in the house.

This might take some getting used to, for her and me. But we'll cope. She's already taken food out my hand

Her nails are long, and they'll be the first thing to sort out. We'll also get her some more pedi perches, etc. Anything else I can do to keep them short?

Thank you. Up to now she's mostly a man's bird but I'm hoping to get her used to me too. With some good treats and some real training.

She's 8 years old. Is sitting with me watching me type. Asking me what I'm doing.... lol

It might take me some getting used to as every time I type she asks me. So funny.

I am just glad after she's had a tough time that she can settle here and hopefully be a very happy, healthy part of our family.
